Dear Friends,
It is that time of year again -- time to appoint the rabbi as your agent to sell your chometz.
Below, you will find a link to
the sale of chometz form. This year, the sale will be made on Friday
morning, March 26th. The sale will be effective immediately, and will
only exclude the small amount of chometz which many of us will be saving
for the Shabbos meals that evening and the following (early) morning.
That chometz needs to be totally consumed or disposed of on Shabbos,
March 27th, before the appropriate time (not eaten after 10:33, disposed
of by 11:47) as it is not included in the sale.
Since the sale is effective
approximately 11:30 AM on Friday, March 26th (the day before Erev
Pesach), the same form can be used to sell chometz located in time zones
east of New York (such as Israel).
I will be available to meet in
person to be designated to sell chometz every weekday night from 8 PM
to 9 PM. I will also be available Sunday mornings from 8:30 AM until 10
AM. I will be at Shul at those times.
I am happy to meet people
outside to be designated to sell chometz if that is more comfortable.
Additionally, if you feel more comfortable returning the form below via
email and not meeting in person, that is also fine. Please contact me

accommodate.
